How Soon Will Results Appear?*

Depending on your treatment regimen, Sculptra results appear gradually and last more than two years. For best results, we recommend a series of about three treatments over several months. To see full results, follow the recommended treatment plan and within a few months you should see a noticeable difference and reduction in wrinkles.*

Are There Side Effects To Sculptra?

While side effects are not common, they can include, but are not limited to redness, tenderness, bruising, lumps, bleeding, itching or swelling at the injection site. Small bumps may appear when pressing on the injection site. . Most side effects are minor and resolve within days of treatment. If you have concerns about any of Sculptra’s side effects, let us know!
If you are experiencing side effects or any pain at the injection site, contact your doctor immediately. Sculptra® is FDA approved and has been used to treat patients since 1999. No allergy testing is needed because it contains no human or animal derivatives.

What To Expect After Your Sculptra Treatment?

There may be some slight swelling and soreness after you initial treatment so having a ice pack ready may help reduce that common swelling. Wrap the ice pack in a cloth and be sure to never apply ice directly to your treated skin. Another good practice after a treatment is to massage the treatment area for five minutes, every day for about five days after treatment. Finally, it is best to stay out of the sun immediately following treatment. However, our specialist will direct you on how to best take care of yourself after treatment.
